Dave began his coaching career at Macon Soccer Club in 2015. He moved to AFC Lightning in 2017 and has coached boys teams, primarily in the academy. He served as the Assistant Boys Academy Director before becoming the Boys Academy Director in 2023.

Dave played youth soccer at AFC Lightning and Concorde Fire. He played collegiate soccer at Mercer University from 2012-2016, where he was named the Mercer Men's Freshman Soccer Player of the Year and an All-Conference Academic Team Selection.

He played professionally PDL side, Southern Soccer Academy (now USL-2), and for Adersheim FV in Germany.
