Disney Showcase Champions!
Lightning’s 97 Girls Elite won the Disney Showcase. Congrats to Coach Angelo and the squad.
The team defeated Auburn Thunder 2-0; Seacoast United 4-0 and tied West Florida Premier 1-1 in the group phase. In the final the girls the defeated Gulf Coast United Dynamos.
Lightning Pre-Academy Tryouts
For those interested in our U8 Lightning Pre-Academy teams the tryouts will take place as follows:
If you are interested in Pre-Academy in Peachtree City (PTCYSA) tryouts will take place on January 30th from 6-7pm at the Baseball Soccer Complex on Field 4.
If you are interested in Pre-Academy in Fayette County (FCYSL) tryouts will take place on January 31st from 6-7pm at the McCurry North Complex on Field 1.

Lightning 95 Boys Elite Champions
AFC Lightning 95 Boys Elite won Nike Norcross Cup the weekend of December 3/4. Lightning team beat Norcross Gold 2-0, NASA Premier 2-0, tied CFC Red Redstar 2-2 and won the finals 3-2 over Lanier Sharks.
Lightning 95's were also champions at Final 4 Collegiate Soccer Showcase held in Birmingham, Alabama the weekend of December 9-11. Lightning beat Celtic Green 95 3-1, beat MS/JFC Fire Premiere 1-0 and then beat Gulf Coast texans 2-0. The U17 AFC Lightning team is coached by AFC Lightning Boy's Director Kerem Daser.
