Lightning player Kelley O'Hara has been invited to train with the US Under 16 National Team at the Home Depot Center in Carson, California from May 8th to 15th. Kelley first tried out for ODP last year and was disappointed not to make the Region team. This year, she has worked hard and improved her level of play. This invitation is no doubt the payoff for the work she has done.

Kelley has been a starter and top goal scorer for the U16 88 White team since she was under 11. Playing mostly as a forward, she is fast, aggressive and a deadly finisher. She has a very high work rate and always keeps defenders under pressure.

The Lightning Club wishes Kelley the best of luck in Carson. Hopefully she will do well and become a mainstay of the National Team Program.
