Former AFC Lightning player Chris Feigenbaum gets called up to the Puerto Rico Men’s National Team

After training this summer with the U21 Puerto Rico National Team, Chris Feigenbaum has been called up to join the full Men’s National Team in its next Training Camp September 26th through October 7th at the new Bayamon Soccer Complex in San Juan, Puerto Rico. This Training Camp will serve as the preparatory camp for the team’s most important competition of the year, the Digicel Caribbean Cup, which is the Caribbean Qualifiers for the CONCACAF Gold Cup next summer.

Chris hopes to help the team advance from Group A made up of Anguilla, Cayman Islands, St Martin and Puerto Rico. This First Round Group Stage will take place at Juan Ramon Loubriel Stadium in PR from October 2nd – 6th.

In 2008, as a member of the U20 Puerto Rico MNT, Chris played in three World Cup qualifying matches against Jamaica, Bermuda, and Cayman Islands, and has one international goal. Chris is currently a Junior at the University of Central Florida playing in his third year as a UCF Knight.
