PTCYSA=20 is committed to providing a safe and secure = playing=20 environment for our children. In keeping with = this=20 objective we remain vigilant in not making = available for=20 public consumption any personal identification = or other=20 biographical information, on any youth player = within our=20 program.

A.=20 Web site and Public Relations Publication Policy = (including press releases):

1.=20 General: It shall be the policy = of PTCYSA=20 not to disclose any personal or other = biographical=20 information on our players. This policy = includes=20 the release of individual pictures = accompanied by=20 player's name. Exceptions can be granted = for=20 extenuating circumstances subject to = approval of=20 the PTCYSA Board of Directors and the = player's=20 parent or guardian.

2.=20 Individual Players: Any external = request=20 for personal data on any of our players = must be=20 verified by PTCYSA Risk Management = Committee as=20 coming from a legitimate source. The = request must=20 also include the reasons for asking for = player=20 information. Prior to releasing the = player's=20 information, PTCYSA will seek the written=20 permission of the player's parent or=20 guardian.

3.=20 Team Pictures: Posting of = team=20 pictures in news releases or on our web = page is=20 permitted as long as no individual player = is=20 identified within the picture. Should it = be=20 absolutely necessary to provide player = names then=20 the players should be listed = alphabetically,=20 providing first initial and last name = only. Great=20 care should be taken to insure that there = is no=20 direct matching of a player's name to = their=20 specific picture.

4.=20 Practice Schedules: There should = be no=20 public posting of individual team practice = = schedules.

B:=20 Uniform Policy:
PTCYSA = discourages=20 the use of placing names of players on the = uniform. No=20 method should be used that allows for a specific = youth=20 player to be readily identifiable by any = markings or=20 lettering on his/her uniform.
