Vince Dattilo Vince joined AFC Lightning in 2004, were he has been coaching the 89’ girls white team for 3 years. In each of the three years he has taken them to the semi-finals of State Cup. Vince joins us from Mt. DeSales High School in Macon Ga. He was the boys HS coach for 6 years and while in Macon coached with Middle Ga. Soccer Association for more than 9 years. While at Mt DeSales, he won 2 State Championships in the GISA, won 6 straight Region titles, and was named Coach of the year for 2 of the 6 years. Vince has been developing youth players for over 13 years. Vince grew up in Houston Texas and moved to Macon with his family, where he graduated from Mt DeSales High School. He went on to play at Quincy College and transferred to Mercer University where he graduated with a BS in Business Management. He still holds the most goals and assists in a single season at Mercer University. Vince was TAAC Conference player of the year and won the TAAC Conference Championship while at Mercer. Vince was drafted in 1993, in the first round of the NPSL to the Dayton Dynamo. Vince played with the Dynamo for 2 years before being transferred to the Chicago Power. Vince played professionally for 3 more years with the Atlanta Magic in the USISL. Vince is currently playing in the ADASL for the Atlanta Silverbacks, where his team competes for the Region III Title every year, and in 2004 played for the National Championship. Vince currently holds a USSF National “B” License. Vince is married with two sons Christian 8, Addison 7, and daughter Maggie-Jo 5. Vince and his wife Shannon reside in Peachtree City. |
