Chris joined AFC Lightning in 2003. Chris joined the staff after 4 years with Norcross Soccer Association.

Chris grew up in Dallas, Texas while playing in the Solar Soccer Club organization.  After moving to Nashville, Tennessee during his junior year, he graduated from Franklin High.  Chris completed his high school career as the Gatorade Player of the Year and went on to make the Region III ODP team just falling short of the National team on the final cut in Colorado Springs, CO.

Chris graduated from Belmont Abbey College in Charlotte, NC with BA degree in Sports Management. While at Belmont Abbey, Chris was part of a successful program that competed for the National Championships in 1989.  He received All-American status for three of his four years and was honorable mention for his freshman season.  He was captain of the team for his last two seasons and named to the All Region team as well as Player of the Year.

Following college Chris played professionally for 6 years including stints with the New Mexico Chiles (ASL) and Atlanta Magic (Indoor / Outdoor - USISL).  He was named player of the year for the 92 season with the Magic

Chris currently holds the United States Soccer Federation "C" License.

Chris is married with two children.  His wife, Debbie along with his son Mitch and daughter Reese reside in Sharpsburg, Ga.
