Before coming to Lightning, coach Al coached at the PTCYSL program for 2 years. Before moving to Peachtree City coach Al coached at a club in the Tulsa, OK area for seven years. Coach Al owned a Franchise in the Central American League in Chicago, Illinois.  He was a player/coach for 5 years. He played in the Chicago Central American, Latin American and Class A Legues for 15 years. As a youth player he was selected as an All-State soccer player in Illinois.  He was the Captain of the 1982 Roosevelt High School Team which took 2nd place in the Chicago City Championship. He became the captain as a Junior.  He also played for the Pumas soccer club at U-15 and U-16 in the Northern Indiana Soccer League. Coach Al is the Senior Network Engineer for Delta Technology Inc. for the past seven years. He and his wife Carmen live in Peachtree City. They have two children. Tanya, who is 20, attends Loyola University and Leornardo, who is 16, currently plays for AFC Lightning’s 91 Premier team.
