Kevin Chilvers

Staff Coach

Chilvers joined AFC Coaching Staff in the summer of 2009. He has been working with the ’99 Boys Academy.

Chilvers has worked with a U.S. based Soccer company for the past five years conducting camps all over the southeast and southwest. During his time here in 2008 he was the head coach for the Troup Titans in Lagrange, GA.

Chilvers soccer career began in England where he attended two professional soccer academies. First at Newcastle United and, then at local rival, Sunderland.

Chilvers then played semi-professionally in England with Gateshead in the Unibond Premier League. An unfortunate ankle injury ended his high level-playing career.

Chilvers then decided to concentrate on his coaching and sports coaching degree. He has his level two coaching license from the FA in England and was working towards his UEFA B license. Unfortunately, at the time, his injury stopped him from being able to complete the class. Chilvers is now seeking to complete his licenses.

Chilvers resides in Peachtree City with his wife Martha Ann.
