Olson joined AFC Lightning in the spring of 2009 and serves as a staff coach.

Olson has extensive playing experience at the youth and select level throughout the United States.  Olson won championships at the state level and competing at the regional level.

Olson played his high school ball at Woodward Academy here in Atlanta, where he captained his team and earned most valuable and leadership honors.  Olson played his club ball under David Chadwick as a member of the ’72 AFC Lightning Gold team.  Olson played collegiately at Presbyterian College.  During his career the team won three conference championships, and was ranked nationally in the Top 25 each year.

Olson holds the USSF National "D" License, and has extensive experience as a USSF Referee.

Olson received his B.S. in Business Administration from Presbyterian College and currently leads an enterprise application consulting team for Cisco Systems.

Olson and his wife, Ashley, reside in Peachtree City with their three children.
