Costick was hired by AFC Lightning in the summer of 2008.  Costick will serve as a staff coach and as the Girls Academy Coordinator.  

Previously, Costick was the Technical Director for Coweta Cannons Soccer Association and coached there between 2005 and 2008. Costick was a coach for Southampton FC in their community program in the UK.

Costick is from Southampton, England where he was groomed as a young player in the Southampton FC academy.  Costick went on to play for Peterborough United and Reading FC learning under coaches like Alan Pardew, Steve Keane and Kevin Dillon.  In 1999, Costick accepted a scholarship to Wingate University.  Costick played all four years and was named both all-conference and all-region. In 2003, he was voted MVP at the SAC Conference Tournament. 

Costick holds the USSF ’A’ License, the NSCAA Premier Diploma and the UEFA C License (Level II).

Costick and his wife, Lauren, reside in Peachtree City.
