The Girls college coaches attending the camp will include Georgia College and State University, University of Georgia, Georgia State University, Columbus State University, Mercer University, Oglethorpe University, University of West Georgia, and University of Alabama.  For the Boys, Oglethorpe University and Mercer University.

AFC will conduct a High School Prep Camp to prepare players for the upcoming 2010 season. The camp will provide quality instruction by a different college coach each night from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. at McCurry Park North. The camp is open to all high school area players (U14 – U19) regardless of club affiliation and will include the following:

- Invitations to all area JV & Varsity coaches to attend one evening’s training session
- Fitness testing
- Demanding Fitness sessions
- Intense Tactical training sessions (thirds of the field; playing out of the back with 4 defenders, etc)
- Functional sessions (Role of central midfielders in a 4-4-2, etc)
- Goalkeeping sessions will be held nightly separate from the field player sessions.

This camp will not only prepare you for the upcoming high school season but it will offer some insight into what the requirements are to compete at the collegiate level as well.
